the decay of Zandvoort (working title)

Latest project,

Zandvoort, a dutch fishermans village from origin, grown out to a touristic beach town.

Rebuild in 5 years time after the distruction in world war two, ready for mass tourism.

But zandvoort’s polularity is decreasing and the big grey buildings are starting to decay.
The 16.000 residents, who throughout the years, started to build their lives on tourism, are thrown back to each other and the small town economy it originaly was.

A story about the results of mass tourism.
